CostGuard can scale or convert ingredient quantities at any time. You can scale Serving, Prep, Menu, Prep Build, and Food List recipes.
Use this to:
Convert a recipe for 25 servings to 350 servings
Convert 1 gallon of soup to 10 gallons of soup
Convert a banquet menu from 100 guests to 250 guests
Click “Recipe” then “Recipe Manager” at the toolbar at the top of the screen.
Double click on the recipe you want to convert
Click the “ingredient” tab. Click the “convert” button at the bottom of the screen.
In the popup menu, type in the new yield. The portion is the same as it is in the main tab for the recipe. Do not change the portion, just type in the new yield next to it.
CostGuard will automatically calculate new ingredient quantities for this recipe
You can choose to print the recipe. When you exit the screen, you will be asked if you want to save your changes. Click yes to save your new yield.
