Before typing in a recipe, check to see if all of the ingredients have been entered in as Inventory items. For more information on using the Inventory Manager, click here.
It happens to all of us. As you are typing in a new Recipe, you realize that an ingredient is not an Inventory Item. Since CostGuard has multiple window functions, you can add the ingredient without exiting Recipe.
1. Click Inventory, Click New Item. The main tab for entering an Inventory Item will appear. Enter in the Inventory Item.

2. When you have finished entering the Inventory Item, you must click Close to save it; otherwise, you will not be able to select it from the recipe.
3. When you close the Inventory Window, you will return to the Recipe. Click the Ingredient Tab, and pick up where you left off. The ingredient is now in the Inventory popup box.
